ANZ wanted to demonstrate how their Freedom account didn’t have any of the typical banks fees that customers expect and dislike. We decided to bring the idea of ‘sneaky fees’ to life by creating wasps representing these fees, and telling people ‘Don’t Get Stung’.
By adopting a new media placement in TVNZ’s Ondemand app – we brought the wasps to life. Leveraging the unique attributes of devices we were able to rich interactive experience.
Users were invited to literally squash the fees and discover the product iin a game-based interface. And with thousands of players, we also generated a click-through rate of .13%, a lift of over 750%.
