We started with paper prototypes, to free up our thinking. Then created lo fidelity prototypes for desktop and mobile snaps. These were user tested, refined and created into user stories for UI designs.
For the beta Car flow, I introduced the new Jucy Fruit design patterns into the booking flow and optimised the experience for mobile. I followed the premise that ‘Repeat/Weekend Hirer’ personas use to app design concepts where key functions are on screen as much as possible, and so tried to keep the functionality similar.
The experience was also designed for desktop, were the flow leaned towards “Long travel/Research’ personas, who might need to gather more information and spend more time pouring over details of the cars.
